“A Seasonal Feast Presented by Grand Mercure”
“From Samcheok Octopus to Truffle Performances—A Rich Autumn Dining Experience”
“Autumn Gastronomy Promotion Runs Until the End of November”
This autumn, Grand Mercure Imperial Palace Seoul Gangnam will launch a special culinary promotion starting September 15, offering guests the chance to savor the true flavors of the season. Featuring premium seasonal ingredients and diverse menus, the promotion promises to delight the senses of discerning gourmets.
At Buffet Familia, diners can enjoy fresh Samcheok octopus served as sukhoe (lightly blanched octopus). Paired with seasoned seaweed, aged kimchi, and savory sesame oil sauce, this trio brings out the rich depth of autumn flavors. The live station will also feature Korean Hanwoo ribeye steak, aged for 48 hours at low temperature to preserve its tenderness and juiciness, offering a refined dining experience for all generations.
At Chinese restaurant Cheonsan, the seasonal promotion “Manchu Gagyeong (The Beauty of Late Autumn)” presents a refined course menu priced at KRW 180,000 per person. Highlights include authentic abalone liangpi, nourishing palbo haeseon soup, stir-fried lobster tail with fermented soybeans, grilled Hanwoo tenderloin with matsutake mushrooms, choice of matsutake seafood noodle soup or rice entrée, and seasonal desserts. On weekends, guests can also enjoy a customizable four-course menu selected from around 30 dishes, available at KRW 120,000 per person including main and dessert.
At Café Delmar, guests can enjoy homestyle Italian dishes at approachable prices, including spicy tomato cioppino, creamy pumpkin gnocchi, and classic Emilian lasagna. Seasonal beverages feature persimmon juice, smoothies, and yogurt (KRW 25,000), as well as autumn-inspired drinks such as chestnut latte and sweet red bean latte (KRW 23,000). A seasonal Mont Blanc dessert complements the Autumn High Tea set, available for two at KRW 100,000.
At The Bar, led by award-winning bartender Jungjun Byun, guests can experience a range of creative beverage performances. Highlights include Honey Ember, a cocktail with subtle honey notes presented with a flaming performance; Wasabi Mary, a playful twist on the classic Bloody Mary; and three truffle-inspired table-side dishes (scallops, grilled lobster, and Hanwoo tenderloin steak), where fresh truffle is shaved directly before guests’ eyes—offering a truly immersive gastronomic and artistic moment.
This autumn gastronomy promotion runs through the end of November. For full details, please visit the official website of Grand Mercure Imperial Palace Seoul Gangnam.
